Welcome to SlimeChunk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SlimeChunk game server hosting platform operated at slimechunk.com ("Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

SlimeChunk provides Minecraft game server hosting services, including server provisioning, management tools, modpack installation, file management, automated backups, and related features. We utilize third-party infrastructure providers to deliver our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Billing and Payments

  • Pricing: All prices are displayed in the currency indicated at the time of purchase. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
  • Billing Cycle: Server subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as specified at the time of purchase.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payment methods as displayed during checkout, processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe).
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If a server fails to provision or a modpack installation fails permanently, credits may be issued to your account balance automatically. For other refund inquiries, please contact support.
  • Non-Payment: Servers may be suspended if payment is not received by the due date. Suspended servers may be terminated after a grace period.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Server Resources

Each server is allocated specific resources (CPU, RAM, storage, backup slots) as defined by your selected plan. You may not attempt to exceed or circumvent these resource limits. We reserve the right to enforce fair usage to ensure quality of service for all users.

7. Data and Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you upload to your servers (world files, configurations, plugins, mods).
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • We do not monitor the content of your servers except as necessary for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
  • Automated backups are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

8. Intellectual Property

The SlimeChunk platform, including its interface, design, and features, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios/Microsoft. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to infrastructure provider outages, DDoS attacks, or natural disasters.

10. Termination

  • By You: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through the Service or by contacting support.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, non-payment, or any other reason with reasonable notice. In cases of severe violations, immediate termination without notice may occur.
  • Effect: Upon termination, your server data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period. It is your responsibility to export any data you wish to keep before termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIMECHUNK AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlimeChunk and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by applicable law in your region.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law based on your jurisdiction of residence. Nothing in these Terms shall deprive you of the protections granted to consumers under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
